Do you fake it?

treeani.gif Real or Fake? That question can only mean one thing - the debate many homes have over the type of Christmas tree. Choosing a real or an artificial tree entails many considerations, including how long you want to display the tree, do you have the time to properly maintain/cleanup after a real tree, appearance and cost. The end goal is to have a beautiful Christmas tree for everyone to enjoy, but the decision usually comes down to personal preference.

Let’s look at the advantages of each Fake tree:- convenience, used year after year, no mess, and doesn’t have to be watered and maintained. Many newer artificial trees look very realistic, now come with built in lights, come in array of seasonal colors, and are partly decorated. Once the festive season is over, you can just pack it up and store it until next year. Real tree:- many species to choose from, variety of textures, sizes, shapes , picking out your very own Christmas tree and the most importantly that unmistakeable natural fragrance which fills the whole house.

Whether you choose to have an artificial or real Christmas tree, may it bring you joy this festive season.

MISSING

2004-11-13 076.jpg Three Hubcaps has been missing since the middle of November 2004, when he failed to return home from parking in the Woollies carpark in Neutral Bay. There is a great concern for Three Hubcaps as they have been out of touch with Four Hubcaps for so long and his owner is looking to sell. Three Hubcaps is 14″ tall ,quite round in shape with grey appearance - I’ve added a photo should you sight Three Hubcaps travelling around. Please do not take any action yourself, notify me straight away. Who takes three hubcaps? REALLY, C’MON!!!

Nat & Ryans Wedding 26th November 2004

2004-11-29 002.JPGI lived with them in London (Willesden Green) for over a year, had countless drinking sessions, shared over a million cheese toasties & fish fingers, felt their highs & lows, laughed so hard I pulled a cheek muscle but one of the happiest moments I remember is reading about Ryans proposal from Natalie, the setting being on a gondola in Venice. I doubt their is a stopwatch built that could record Nat’s response time to Ryan’s one knee proposal. Yes this is romatic, however, I can’t help wondering if Ryan has ruined it for all us single guys who are yet to propose, he’s certainly raised the bar a few notches…cheers mate! :) The big day arrived and I had the pleasure to attend. Surely, the proposal could not be topped but these two managed to do it. The setting for the big day was at ‘Point Walter Sand Bar’ Bicton WA with Perth City as part of the back drop shimmering under the late afternoon sky, well when the clouds parted anway. After this picturesque ceremony we all jumped on a boat and headed to the Lucky Shag (not so lucky for some) on the edge of the city over looking the harbour. The food, drinks and company could not have been better. The only bad thing to come out of the night was my severe hangover the following day but this was soon cured with a few cheeky pints down at the Cot Hotel. I’ve posted some photos, to view them click on one of the photo’s. Congratulations again to Ryan & Natalie, wishing you both love and happiness always. (16 photos)
