Do you fake it?
Real or Fake? That question can only mean one thing - the debate many homes have over the type of Christmas tree.
Choosing a real or an artificial tree entails many considerations, including how long you want to display the tree, do you have the time to properly maintain/cleanup after a real tree, appearance and cost. The end goal is to have a beautiful Christmas tree for everyone to enjoy, but the decision usually comes down to personal preference.
Let’s look at the advantages of each Fake tree:- convenience, used year after year, no mess, and doesn’t have to be watered and maintained. Many newer artificial trees look very realistic, now come with built in lights, come in array of seasonal colors, and are partly decorated. Once the festive season is over, you can just pack it up and store it until next year. Real tree:- many species to choose from, variety of textures, sizes, shapes , picking out your very own Christmas tree and the most importantly that unmistakeable natural fragrance which fills the whole house.
Whether you choose to have an artificial or real Christmas tree, may it bring you joy this festive season.

We always had a real one at home when I was growing up and fake ones never make it feel like a ‘complete’ Christmas.
The major factor for us in deciding to invest in a fakey was the roof was too low for a real one.
