Mini Mal

January 30th, 2005 by Anthony

My New Mini Mal.jpg Bought a mini mal surfboard today. I’ve been testing different sized boards for the last couple of months and finally found the right one. The dimensions are 7′6″x21″x2 3/4″. I’m still struggling even with longer boards (8′6″) that I’ve been riding of late but after testing this one on Australia Day I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before I’m on the 2005 ASP World Surfing Tour. All I need now is a car to get me to the beach!

Happy Australia Day !

January 26th, 2005 by Anthony

Aussie Aussie Aussie.bmp Australia Day, January 26, is the biggest day of celebration in the country and is observed as a public holiday in all states and territories. On Australia Day we come together as a nation to celebrate what’s great about Australia and being Australian. It’s the day to reflect on what we have achieved and what we can be proud of in our great nation. It’s the day for us to re-commit to making Australia an even better place for the future. I’m certainly proud to be Australian…..Happy Australia Day!!!

Discovering Australia – Adelaide

January 20th, 2005 by Anthony

Adelaide.bmp Fine food, great wine, a sense of history and the good life – can all be found in the elegant City of Adelaide – the capital of South Australia and home to more than a million people. Adelaide is a feast in every way. In fact it’s said there are more restaurants per head of population there than anywhere else in Australia. Adelaide is also where much of the Aussie cuisine delighting the world is being created. You’re just 20 minutes from the tranquillity of the Adelaide Hills to the east, while a selection of superb sandy beaches, including Glenelg, awaits to the west. Adelaide is the wine capital of Australia – six out of the top 10 Australian wines are made within a few hours’ drive of the City. Distances to Adelaide from other capital cities: Canberra-1198km, Melbourne-732km, Sydney-1415km, Brisbane-2055km, Perth-2716km, Darwin-3051km. It’s also the former home to our new ASM Carly. Unfortunately, Carly wasn’t around for my previous post entitled ASM but I hear that her ideal job would be designing fully sic cars and apparently in her spare time she likes to pick up sleazy guys.
