Round 2 – Alonso

March 22nd, 2005 by Anthony

Formula One Foreign Correspondent & work colleague Ben has backed the winner again. Ben was in Malaysia to see ALONSO lead from start to finish in an action packed race, well for the cars behind Alonso.

Fisichella went from hero to zero after breaking too late & taking out our own Mark Webber and denied his first podium finish.

Where’s Ferrari & their champion Michael!? They’re trailing in fourth place in the constructors championship with 10 points, 16 behind Renault. And the world champ is in 11th place after two races but I wouldn’t write him off yet….both Michael & Rubens may be driving the new F2005 in Bahrain.

I DECLARE THIS SITE ANTI-BUSH !!!

March 16th, 2005 by Anthony

wanted_bush.jpgTwo years have past since US President George Bush dropped the first bomb in Iraq and yet the US & the Coalition (sheep) are yet to discover any ‘Weapons of Mass Destruction’. Sure, the people of Iraq have now been liberated from Saddam Hussain’s crimes of excessive violence to rule Iraq but are the US & Coalition governments not also using these crimes to justify their own excessive violence in an attempt to rule the world!?

Bush did not invade Iraq because it was the right thing to do, he invaded Iraq because he could. And now we find what should come as no surprise to anyone, Bush invaded it not on principle but on expedience.

NEWS today: Italy’s Prime Minister Silvio Berusconi has informed George Bush his troops will be pulled from Iraq after US Forces killed an Italian Intelligence Agent in Bagdad last week.

Is John Howard waiting for similar headlines to appear on the cover of our papers before he orders the removal of approx 1400 Australian personnel located in Iraq!?

Round 1 – Fisichella

March 6th, 2005 by Anthony

Renault driver Fisichella was never challenged today at Albert Park Melbounre, from pole position he came home to win by five and a half seconds and claim his 2nd career victory. BMW Williams driver Mark Webber ran most of the race in Third but was denied a podium finish, however, our home hero equalled his best-ever result by taking fifth. Fisichella was not the only winner today, thanks to my work colleague Ben. On Friday, he mentioned the Renault drivers may have a chance this weekend, so without a second thought I logged onto Centrebet and placed a huge bet of $2.86 (it’s all I had left in my account) for Fisichella to win. Centrebet were paying $11.00 for a win…..$HING $HING!
