An Aussie died and went to heaven. As he stood in front of St. Peter at the Pearly Gates, he saw a huge wall of clocks behind him.

He asked, “What are all those clocks?”

St. Peter answered. “Those are Lie-clocks. Everyone on earth has a lie clock. Every time you lie the hands on your clock will move.”

“Oh” said the man “whose clock is that?”

“That’s Mother Teresa”s. The hands have never moved, indicating that she never told a lie.”

“Incredible” said the man. “And whose clock is that one?”

St. Peter responded, “That’s Abraham Lincoln’s clock. The hands have moved twice, telling us that Abe told only two lies in his entire life”

“Where’s John Howard’s clock” asked the man.

“John Howard’s clock is in Jesus’ office. He’s using it as a ceiling fan.”

Happy Birthday Noemi !!!

For those of you who do not know who Noemi is or haven’t met her yet, she is my girl (one year anniversary this saturday). Here’s a pic:Noemi

It’s official or should I say settled! At 2:40pm today, the real estate agent LJ Hooker, Manly handed me keys to my first property. I’m now ‘living via a mortgage’ or ‘in the rat race’ or ‘up that certain creek without a paddle’, either way I’m now living the Australian dream.

Actually in all honestly, at this stage, I’m just bloody happy that I’ve finally own my own place after two years of saving and looking all over Sydney for a place.

Now the fun part begins, renovating! Ten minutes after collecting the keys I was in my place with my plumber talking about what I need done. I then got to work at removing the kitchen. I hope to have the major part of the reno completed by 12 June 06.
