Three women have a very late night drinking. They leave in the early morning hours and go home their separate ways. The next day, they all meet and compare notes about who was drunkest the night before.

The first girl claims that she was the drunkest, saying, “I drove straight home and walked into the house. As soon as I got through the door, I blew chunks for 10 minutes.”

The second says, “You think that was drunk? Hell, I got into my car and wrapped it around the first tree I saw. I don’t even have insurance!”

The third says, “No, I was the drunkest by far. When I got home, I got into a big fight with my husband, knocked over a candle, and burned the whole house down!”

She begins to cry. The room falls silent. Finally, the first girl speaks up: “I don’t think you understand……..Chunks is my dog!”

I can now get rid of that bloody bean bag, because I have a new (second hand but new to me) lounge!

I hired a ute from Manly Rentals, put up with half of Sydney streets (Harbour Bridge included) being closed for a bloody marathon and dealt with the traffic around the Sydney Football Ground for a Sydney FC game to pick it up from Bondi Junction. If you don’t know Sydney then trust me, when you combine all of that on a Sunday you’d be annoyed too. After setting it in place and parking my butt on it for five minutes all the stress built up went straight out the window. I am loving my new purchase, even more than my new kitchen which I think is a big call.  

Today, at 6:31am I became an uncle for the first time. My sister Alice gave birth to a gorgeous baby girl named Emily. At birth she was 51cm tall, 8.2 pounds & has big bright beautiful blue eyes. Mum & bub are doing well.
