Pickem’

August 31st, 2007 by Anthony

Someone asked me recently “which songs do you remember from your teenage years?”. After several minutes of thinking about my answer and coming to the realisation I’m bloody old now, I concluded there were too many to list so I narrowed it down the the first ten that came to mind.

And here they are in no particular order:

  1. Kris Kross – Warm it up (video)

  2. Beastie Boys – Shake Your Rump (video) or So What’cha Want (video)

  3. Stereo MCs – Connected (video)

  4. Arrested Development – People Everyday (video)

  5. De La Soul – Roller Skating Jam (video) or The Magic Number (video)

  6. Radiohead – Creep (video)

  7. Nirvana – Smells like teen spirit (video)

  8. Public Enemy – Don’t believe the hype (video)

  9. Naughty by Nature – Hip Hop Hooray (video)

  10. Cure – Close to me (video)

After you’ve finished laughing, take the time to post your top ten(10) songs that come to mind!

Maserati GT Coupe

I think the picture almost speaks for itself, well it does for me. It says “buy me buy me” but my wallet replies “In your bloody dreams mate!”. If I had a spare $300,000 my name would definitely be on the pre-order list of 100 cars hitting our shores (Australia) in November.

I’d also love to have Jay Kay’s (Jamiroquai) beautiful black 1954 Maserati A6 G54 in my garage.

Go wireless

August 3rd, 2007 by Anthony

AirPort Express is a wireless product from Apple that allows you to connect multiple users to your Internet connection. Featuring AirTunes for playing your iTunes music wirelessly on your home stereo or powered speakers. SO you can hook up your internet, music and printing all wirelessly. And it’s available for Mac and Window PC users.

If you have a wireless network in place, AirTunes can be used to add music to its capabilities. For example, if you have AirPort Extreme set up in your study there’s no need to scrap this setup and create a whole new one with an AirPort Express Base Station, your Unwired modem, printer and stereo all in one place. Simply connect AirPort Express to your stereo in say your lounge room and plug it into an electrical outlet, it’ll then wirelessly link to your existing network, letting you play your music in your room of choice without moving anything or connecting anything else. Gold!
